He is a better player, he is a natural midfielder, but he is BETTER then De Shittio at RB or anything else football related, expect height or staying back at all times holding hands with your CBs.

Florenzi is one of those guys whos versatility has been a bane to his career (not attacking enough for right wing forward role, strong enough for CM role, not natural defensive type for FB etc, even if latter it what suits him best), he can play too many ways that coaches havent bothered to find him a specific role most of his career, but he has done good at RB because he is energizer bunny runner who exploits overlapping space and since he is a midfielder has quite good passing and crossing. He is essentially a CM but he is too slight/weak and not overly great dribbler/technical (for midfield standards, for RB standards its very good) in small paces so he more of became a jack of all trades. His crossing and shooting is his best assets besides excellent runs, tenacious pressing tackler too.
I disagree to some extent. That right side has always leaked goals with Florenzi playing as the right back. It's why Roma has been trying to find a replacement RB for so many years now. He's very poor defensively, gets out of position often, loses his man frequently and makes silly fouls all the time.

Going forward can someone make up for it, but he doesn't create enough to offset the liability he is at the back. He could do much better as a WB in 3-5-2 or something of that sort, but him playing FB is a part of why Roma has never managed to become all that solid at the back.

I see the same issue, but I think its something that can be worked on, he is essentially a player thats stuck between winger and fullback, is a natural WM or WB, giving him to a coach like Allegri or a typical Juve coach would do alot for him compared to the usual mess of Roma.

Pellegrini is likely to arrive this summer, Juventus have been talking to his agent for over a month. Deal has basically closed, Only official announcement missing. [Rai]

He's similar to Cuadrado (not so much style but versatility), which is why there have been times I'd have preferred Allegri move Cuadrado to RB rather than playing someone like Sturaro or Barzagli there, opponent-dependent.

It's hard to say whether Allegri would play him as a RB or not. Seeing as he refused to ever try Cuadrado there, even with DeSciglio out injured this year. We ended up with Stu as RB in our first 3 CL matches.

Florenzi even played as a midfielder at times for Roma. He really is an old-school versatile player. I love his attitude. Would fit perfectly on the right side in Lippi's 4-4-2.

Mega midfield rebuild this summer if Stu, Marchisio, and Sami all leave.

Sturaro & Marchisio are not part of Juventus’s future plans. Both are expected to leave the club in the summer. (Rai)

We should be all over De Vrij. These are the kinds of opportunities Beppe and the board beat off to on a regular basis. Quality defender on a free and sell for 60 million in 2-3 seasons? Beppe Special :tuttosport:

I think Pellegrini is underrated in terms of Italian prospects. He's quite likely one of the better ones around but receives little hype relative to how good he is. Every time I've seen him he looks really smooth with the ball, very good close passing and close dribbling. Good work rate. Willing to put in hard challenges. I haven't seen many outrageous goals but I think his technique from outside the box is not that bad.

    For 25M I think he's worth it.

Florenzi is an absolute no-brainer depending on the price IMO.
