People dont appreciate Mandzukic enough..
Mandzukic was never the scoring machine type of player for us and played his role as LW in a different way to how this role is usually being played because of his different characteristics and he did it very well every time he was given the call.
Yes he isnt our idea of WC LW but he is definitely useful especially when we need to add some physique to our game
The truth is - If we sell Mandzukic for 20M he will be a bargain for the buyers but:
1. We might need the money so we might have to sell him to grow
2. If Mandzukic goes he will have to adjust to his next team style of play and at Milan (rumored to really want him) he will probably flop like everybody else...

I do appreciate him, tbh I consider Mario our MVP of 2016/17. But he couldn't provide that physique much this season, biggest part of the season he was competing with Khedira who's going to play with less intensity.
The real Mario did wake up in the 2nd Real Madrid game, but up until that game he was our worst forward by quite a margin just walking around most of the games, sadly I don't think he has much gas left in the tank and that's crucial for the position he plays in.

Morata and Martial are both very good players but I guess they are being way overrated here
The truth is the fit perfectly with our idea of football and market opportunities as the real top players are impossible (put aside SMS who has a relatively normal price tag in today`s market, but getting him will be tough)

Lets make the forum happy - FI reports we could sell Higuain if a 50M offer arrives.. I think it would be wise as he has a serious dip in form and became very heavy so it might be smart to do it but we need a clinical player to replace him..
Dream mercato would be Griezmann in Higuain out and then a Griezmann Dybala D.Costa trio up front BUT we need to address our midfield first as its just not good enough
Our interest in Bellerin suggests we have problem with A.Sandro (even if they arent on the same side) MDS will be shifted to the left and its like nothing happened (put aside the fact A.Sandro is much better than Bellerin IMO
If we can somehow pull an SMS or Pogba it would take our team to be favorite (along with Real and Barcelona)
For one season I just with our board invest heavily for a change..
In other news - We seem to want Perin as a no`2 GK - I think Perin is the most consistent young GK and his price is also less than half of Donnarumma so it makes sense getting him - My prediction - Polak to fare for the first half season and Perin to take his place afterwards (currently Polak is better but Perin could become great IMO even if obviously there isnt and might never be a GK as good or even close to Buffon...)
