you are right. We were all wanting him here before he went to ManU, so for sure he is still the ame great player but is has been poisoned by that team

He is probably not as bad as Man Utd turn him to be but I wouldnt call him great until he proves it..

He is doing bad for United cause in PL rb/lb are added wingers which are supposed be attacking players.
Basically someone like Davi Alves. Being a RB only in name... while in fact being another winger.
Darmian isn't that bad but he is another defending RB like De Sciglio.
We already have one and it's more than enough.
But while De Sciglio is 25 Darmian is 28. While getting another copy of De Sciglio?

He does have a point though. We have Cuads and Berna on the right, so Costa (who can play on both sides) is the one to most likely end up on the left if everyone is fit.

yeah, lot of it depends on the personel, but imo Costa as our best winger should be played in his best position, then you arrange your other options accordingly (currently thats Dybala-Higgy upfront, DC as a RM-RW and Matuidi as a CM-LM). Cuads is a beast but lets see how he looks after the injury 1st, he might leave in a year or even sooner, and we will probably look to sign some LWs (Pjaca return, Martial links).+ Berna can get minutes from Dybala as well. i dont think hes yet to be a starter, he will slowly take over from DC and become a full fledged starter once the Brazilian leaves

but above all, hopefully Mandzukic can return to last seasons form, then this wouldnt even be a discussion

Won't happen. He is a CF and that's it. He can be a great backup to Higuain next season
