If he plays like he has this World Cup, we'd be gold. Unfortunately I doubt he could do that anymore with anything resembling consistency over the course of a season.

With the strength in our defence and attack, I would have been happy with someone like Torreira coming in, even if he isn't the finished article. Can by himself is a little light. Unless Bentancur explodes this year.

to sum it up, basically: he rejected a move to Cagliari for the 2nd time now this month. says he would only leave Sassuolo for his childhood club, Sampdoria. thinks Balotelli, him and Quagliarella would form one of the best tridents in all of Europe. Sampdoria hasnt shown interest so far. but he is also more happy to stay, says hes still young and there is time for him. hopes they can bring back Zaza and Sansone for next season and push for 8th-12th places on the table and a Coppa quarterfinal.
