It's not that clear because he failed at 2 out of 3 stages. Maybe he's a big fish in a small pond and such move would be a disaster for Juve. He's a player for clubs like Inter, Milan, Roma and others. Maybe not even Milan at this point.
It doesn't matter, the kid either has a talent or not. If he does (and in my book Gomes is clearly a talent) than Max might make him perform. The game should be easier when you are surrounded with better players. It's a gamble, but with loan+option it's a pretty safe bet.

Some players will preferm well only for small teams. We are not a small team hence we shouldn't buy him in the first place.
I honestly believe it's a bs. If a player is not a headcase (like Balo, Cassano) and professional enough, a good coach can make him perform. Maybe I don't understand what are you talking about? Throw in some names

Miccoli, Giovinco, Palladino, Mutu, Marchionni. I'm not going to mention Aquilani because I believe injuries killed the amazing talent that he had.
