I just don't see us signing another CB. As I said in an earlier thread, if were struggling during the season with injuries/loss of form of our 4 CBs we might dip into market in January to find someone.
Looks to me that we'll definitely sign Spinazzola, a CM (which is a surprise to me TBH) and make one final offer to Lazio for Keita.

I think we'll shift between this and the default formation. Using Matuidi as an option for the physical holding mid in the 4231, and the marauder in the 433.
Beeing able to fluently shift between such tactically diverse formations, is interesting.
Notice how cagliari was completely set up to attack our cm, and be ready for deeper dybala with reference higuain.

3 man mid with matuidi releasing Khedira's defensive work, agile pacefull dybala at the top, and Douglas costa showing up everywhere
How does one defend against that ?
