I know Mandzukic is being considered for the second striker but to me he seems to have lost his real scorer instinct (yes he scored a wonderful CL goal), and he was basically POTS playing as a LW/LM for us. Obviously one does not exclude the other, especially with Douglas Costa now here (he could suit Mandzukic CF).

Yeah, agreed but I just don't see a decent striker for good money available tbh. It's a bit like with CB. We've lost a very good one but IMO we shouldn't spend just to fill the vacancies. Costa is here and Berna is coming so we may as well play Mandzukic way less as winger and use those new guys.

The biggest concern is which CM we're gonna buy and shortly after that there's a proper RB.
