We are waiting for everyone to make their move and spend their money and then we will bid for Mbappe - We are waiting for everyone to spend their budget so they cant afford entering the race to sign him

Juventus close to signing Arsenal's Wojciech Szczesny

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny is closing in on a move to Juventus, sources in Italy have told ESPN FC.

Talks are at an advanced stage between Juventus and Arsenal and the Italian champions hope to finalise his signature next week for a fee in the region of €9 million.

Szczesny has spent the last two seasons on loan at Roma and his performances in the Italian capital have alerted Juventus.

Poland international Szczesny is entering the final year of his contract at Arsenal and the Gunners want to sell him this summer rather than risk letting him run down his contract.

Juventus are in the market for goalkeeping reinforcements with Neto set to join Valencia and they see Szczesny as a possible long-term replacement for Gianluigi Buffon.

I would love Rakitič as a rotational option any other summer, but this time around we really need someone physical to complement Khedira/Marchisio/Pjanič, he'd be just another piece of puzzle that doesn't fit into the big gaping hole

apparently Valencia are trying to get Kondogbia on a loan with an option to buy and Inter are willing. I think Beppe should get in on that, I'd rather have him on the bench than Sturaro/Assamoah/Lemina, besides if it works out we make Inter look stupid again, a nice bonus

I would love Rakitic to shine Dybala`s shoes.. maybe we can use him to teach our kids how to bring water bottles to footballers

The right price for who?! Rakitic isnt worth more than 30M and even then Id pass on him.. He cant play with Pjanic and he isnt really better than Khedira.. see no reason to get him..
Totally pointless transfer. First of all Rakitic is way overrated. Second he would suck in a two man midfield next to Pjanic.
Nicely put

He's still a 24yo, was one of the biggest DM talents a few years back and did not work out in a dysfunctional garbage team. I say he's worth a shot for loan with an option, shouldn't be our only midfield signing but as a backup he's ideal.

Definitely more promise in there than in Lemina, Sturaro, Rincon or Assamoah, sadly those guys will probably never improve enough to start for us. Kondogbia at least has some top level potential in him
