Of course but its possible that we want a non-eu mid or right back
Sure but we shouldnt jump to conclusions just yet. We evaluate our options.

N'Zonzi is our ideal purchase. But because of the Alves situation, its indeed possible we should settle for the inferior Fabinho, if it means we can compensate with a fine non-eu rightback

Question is, what non-eu rightback would we be considering ?

We can't add a non eu RB if we're also adding Fabinho.

Actually we can't add any non Eu player if we buy Costa.

It would either be

Fabinho+Darmian
Danilo+ Someone

Or it could very well be

Costa, Nzonzi and De Sciglio

Spanish papers say Barca is offering 80mln for Verratti

If Alves leaves we're thinking of De Sciglio, Darmian and Danilo. Danilo being a new name that came out of Di Marzios mouth.

D.Costa to us for 40mln payable in 3 years, signing 4 year contract. Seems we're close to :donedeal:

Fabinho name being pushed forward

We were always one of the most Italian teams in Italy, we had always low percentage foreigners, but the last two years we are only buying foreigners and some Italian talents. It's sad to see us with 4 Italians (Buffon, Chiello, Bonucci, Barzagli) in starting eleven. Okay, there are not a lot good Italians right now, but now we even buy a foreign bench. I think it's important to cherish your identity and have an Italian core of players.

I will be very pleased with Verratti, Bernadeschi, Belotti, but only Berna looks possible. I've always had a soft spot for Insigne (sorry guys) but he is super impossible ... So it's a hard task for beppe. But the bench can be stronged with Italian talents who are now playing for U21 isn't it? I like that more than some nobodies like Rincon.

We signed Nicolas Penner. He's 16yo regista.

It seems we already asked for Darmian but there's a problem with Mourinho who doesn't want to let him go.

More Fabinho, Fabinho, Fabinho news. He's ahead of N'Zonzi now.

Beppe said Verratti doesnt fit cause of economic reasons. Everyone seems to forget that last bit.
wouldn't it be nice if we sold pjanic to barca, because they could not get verratti and then take that money and get verratti for ourselves ?

that would be a nice statement of intent, ousting barca on the international transfer market.

i know it will not happen, but it would be my dream. Even though it would be an improvement i do not know if it would be worth it in the short run. it would be pretty much cash for a not so great improvement, since we still lack the numbers in the midfield area.

It would have to be

Bernie, Fabinho, Darmian/DS then

Lazio interested in Papu, maybe they are close to selling Keita?

Keita, Bernie, Danilo and Nzonzi

Would Real or Man U go for a loan with forced buy for Danilo/Darmian?

We'd sell Pjanic for AT LEAST 40mln. That's like 40-50mln for Verratti. I'd rather see that than to see us spend 40mln on Bernardeschi. Or 40mln on Costa. Or 80mln on both.
