The only thing stopping this is the form of Navas. He's not world class but he's good enough.
His basically shy off world class tho, very capable goalie, not sure why you need to replace him for them. Except for having big spanish profile who is young too in De Gea.

Never imagined he would be this huge of an ungrateful prick at 18 FFS

He has no respect for his team.

He could have easily stopped raiola on his tracks and convince him that he wanted to stay to see how everything evolved at this new milan, plus trying to get more experience as a goalkeeper in the team he supports and love. I mean is not too much to ask for a player that has all his career in front of him.

He let raiola take the reigns of this and obvs the fatman will look for a paycheck.

Was reading on their forum that they(Milan) want to keep him till 2018

Well if thats the case, then we're surely signing him.
This might be true. Why would a team hold a press conference about a player not extending if they are looking to sell? Surely not a good tactic if you want to maximize the transfer fee.

1. Why did Milan wait so long to renew his contract? If Raiola rejected previous attempts, they should've sold him earlier.

2. Can you really blame Donnarumma if he ends up with Madrid? He goes to a better team, and gets paid more money. Can't hold that against him.

He just turned 18 in February, can't sign a por's contract under 18.

This all comes down to the takeover which was postponed multiple times before it finally happened. Raiola and Donnarumma didn't want to commit before they found out who the new owners were and what the project was like. Clearly they weren't impressed. Also there are rules on which kind of contracts you can sign at certain age.

Milan has been throwing monopoly money around and it's not even July. My guess is Raiola/Donnarumma knew all along they were going to bounce. Maybe they already have a deal somewhere else. It's not really Milans fault, I shouldn't have hinted at that.

Explain why Donna, and Raiola are pricks?

Why did Milan wait till now before trying to renew him?

No sane board would do that. Do you think PSG wait for Verratti to be 1 year away from the end of his contract to renew him?

Come on. That's Milan's board fault.

Nowadays all young footballers are like that. Too easy to blame it on Donna.
Not sure if anyone answered this yet, but Donnarumma turned 18 this year. They couldn't renew his contract before that, this summer was the first window they've gotten to do that. Can't blame them, but can't blame Raiola either - if I'm an agent and my client is willing to make a risky career choice that will make me richer, who am I to get in the way?

We should definitely try to get him now. We'd get a decent keeper for a while, then three years later we and Raiola make a pretty profit and move on.

Ex-Milan stars: 'Donnarumma to Juve'

Ex-Rossoneri striker Massaro was also present in the studio and posited a theory about agent Raiola’s plans.

“When Inter put a contract in front of me promising anything I wanted, I turned it down, preferring to respect Milan and end my career in Japan.

“I don’t know whose fault this is, but the fact remains Donnarumma has taken the fans for a ride. If his saves helped Milan earn six points in the first half of the season, it’s also true to say he lost them six in the second half.

“I think Donnarumma already has another deal lined up and in my view he’s going to Juventus.”

See thats what I m talking about. Rode is definitely a player I would compare with Rincon.

Remember my words, Rudy makes a lot of sense and he is going to surprise many..wait and see.

The Gnabry deal obviouly was already fixed with Werder last summer. Doesnt excite me at all, but not much to lose here.
I'm not saying they aren't talented, but do you think it was a good choice from a player point of view? I really doubt Rudy and Gnagry will get a lot of minutes. Gnabry would be way better off at a team like Leverkusen (for example, on loan) Bayern comes too early imo.

For Bayern on the other hand it's a good deal, no doubt, both are young, talented and with resale value.

They can easily afford him. They already purchased their LB target(Theo Hernandez). Will probably sell James and Morata for a combined 150M. Common you gotta be kidding saying the world's richest club cant afford him.
Both Barca and Real revenus doesn't consist only of football, they contain other branch's revenue as well, such as basketball, hockey... they even add membership revenue. M.United has 150 m euros more footbal revenue than them without CL. so richest club is M.United, not them.

also Barca has more revenue them, on the other hand, their budget is 70 m euros without sales.

Doubt Raiola will do any deals with Real after last years comments.
Also we and manure are probably the only clubs that have good relationship with Mino. I might be wrong of course but hopefully we are already working on thus transfer.
