oh, and i thought we struggled against barca because we could not keep the ball in our ranks when they pressed us. a strong lumberjack will surely help in those situations.
of course you can try to outmuscle the opponent but that will always rely on power and stamina. if you got good players you can simply outplay the pressing opponents which leaves spaces to attack into.
Kante is not the guy with wooden legs, he can pass of course, I just mentioned his main positive attributes, if we managed to sign him somehow I bet Modric would sing another song that night

I am almost sure Higuain, Dybala, Mandzukic, Chiellini, Pjanic, Buffon and 80% sure for Khedira Allegri dont want to change next season as i know him and his opinions. About that positions I think is waste to even talk before we change coach.

i see that point, but we need a player that we can use in serie A and Champions League. While Kante might have been usefull against real madrid, he is probably useless against Serie A opponents, because they either bend over anyways or defend in deep numbers. Now an opponent that defend very deep will only get unlocked by very good passers and of course players that make the runs that are needed for that. If we actually lose bonucci it would be suicide to go for Kante, because we basically take one player out of the equation that can play decisive passes and then fill up another midfield spot with a player who only adds muscle but no finesse. so it would be very easy to mark the playmaking element of us by shutting down pjanic and we know how easily opponents can mark him out of the game. if both our deep midfielders would possess similar playmaking and defense splitting abilities there would not be a proper way to shut us down.

Is Paredes any good? Don't know much about him, what type of midfielder is he? Would he even start for us? Did he start for Roma?

It does make you wonder if there was a better investment of 100MM than Higuain...

Higuain was great in the league, but he is a big game choker. A player like Morata for 100MM would have been aggressive and he is inconsistent, but you HAVE to wonder whether for 100MM there were better options than Gonzalo.
    -Benzema
    -Cavani
    -Griezmann
    -Lacazette
    -Falcao

Those would have been cheaper...and without the big game mental block.

I understand weakening a rival being important by grabbing him from Napoli, but I still always thought Higuain's mental softness in big games is a real problem.

Also realistically, without Higuain, Dybala would have played in a more advanced role.

Why do you and many others see him as choking vs Real? Chiking is when you miss 1 on 1 situations, when you loose composure but he didn't had one singe situation like this, he just didn't had balls from wingers and midfielders. I thing he was the best we could get to help now and near future, he was already proven. I don't regret getting, I'm only dissapointed by the lack of support he got from our mids.

List of names for Juve according to GDM.

Serie A we can win even with a B team, we are talking about getting CL,we are buying players this summer to try one more shot on CL if I understood correctly, Serie A can be won with Khedira, Lemina, Sturaro and Rincon, Kante is type of player for specific roles and he is doing what he should do perfectly
