Tbh the more I hear about this guy the more he seems like an eternal prospect to me who'll at most reach some sort of Parolo level.

Never seen him play though :D

No. You just think that because you've heard about him for so long now. But Tielemans is 20 and has played over 170 games for Anderlecht, scoring 35 goals (as a central midfielder). 18 of those goals were scored this season.

And tbh it takes about two minutes to see the undeniable talent. Tielemans is the real deal.

LOL Parolo? :D

The eternal part is because he has looked really impressive since as a 16 year old bossing Arsenal midfield like a mini Xavi lol, potential to be an all around mid with high level technique and intelligent dynamic creator (who now scores rockets with both feet like he is Sneijder). So there have been impatient expectations since, but he has all the time in the world considering until this week he was still in his teens.

If you watch this, who does he remind you of?

Nah I dont worry about other teams anymore, if we want him and big well enough, we can get him. Not for young talents like him atleast, established stars is another matter.

But yeah it would make sense for him to join a non top first, but he might be too good for top clubs to resist so it should quite of a hurry to nab him before anyone does and is set for a decade.

He should defenitely find minutes with us, our entire central midfield are about hardworkers/less attacking players besides Pjanic. If you good enough you will get plenty of time.

I think it would be a smart move from his perspective. We are a top team, he should be able to get his minutes because he is good enough and with all the talent besides him he will improve a lot. It would be smart move from everyone involved.

Plus the grooming period for him might not be too bad, since his type of players dont tend to be too raw who need to be taught the basics like some young attacking upstarts who solely rely on beating their man at that age when they get there. He is the type to be a midfield general so his positional and tactical sense should be fairly good for the type of player he is (since his vocation is litterally seeing the whole field and finding players on a dime).

Unlike a Coman who is brought in at that age and has to try to fit in any level in different attacking positions/patterns due to us not playing in a way gives him accres of space to play in nor the wing etc. Same thing with a Pjaca who has to be schooled in everything in top level and doesnt work hard enough according to Allegri.

Yup. I can't see any reason against Tielemans tbh.

Exactly. Typical FM player.
Lol. You are sadly mistaken. I bet you haven't seen him play once and aren't even familiar with his stats.

To refresh him, a 19 year old deep laying playmaker&CM (not AM, winger or forward, but deep creator lol) having these stats right now is significant to say the least:

50 games 18 goals 15 assists

He is the first pk taker so probably fair bit of them on the spot, but still quite crazy when you consider he really is that friggin efficient with shooting from afar.

Exactly. And the fact people see him as this sort of eternal prospect just speaks volumes about his talent. It's not because his development has come to standstill. It's because he's been playing for Anderlecht since he was 16. And of course Anderlecht isn't Juventus or Real Madrid, but it is Belgium's biggest team.

I haven't, that's why I said it.
Thanks for admitting that. I can only tell you he's definitely legit and will have a great career, no matter where he goes next. I'd still prefer Verratti to him (just like Verratti more), but he'd do well here.

i've seen him on a couple of occasions (with eurosport 1-2, we have 9 sports channels in hungary, it's overwhelming, so i can follow the belgian league, too :baus: ), he's a brilliant prospect. you never know with young guys, though: maybe he's not strong enough mentally to make a jump from anderlecht to a big team. but he surely has the talent to become a wc midfielder.

Since we played porto, Andre Silva has been poor. The man who is on form is the Soares who they bought in January, 12 goals in 13 games. But as ive always said, despite his relatively poor showing against us, Danilo is the only one who IMO is worthy of a top club.

Where would we even play Tielemans? we already have Pjanic, Marchisio and even Mandragora for that role. Beppe even shot down Gagliardini right away because he said that we weren't looking for players in that position.

Inb4 Verratti is a physical monster.
:agree:

Vidal on steroids

Tbh, imo this year Pjanic makes a strong case for the best midfielder. He is not as dynamic as Luca, but this is the only major characteristic Pjanic clearly worse at.
Pjanic - Veratti is sexy as shit, but not physical enough.
Pjanic has been the best this season

Can you please come and buy Lukaku, cheers.
dont worry, Milan will

Sucks, we killed his spirits lol, I remember Andre was on fire first half of the season.

Yeah Soares doesnt look all that but lethal proficiency.

I really want Danilo as well.

Hope Zidane starts Bale over Isco, Isco gets mad hands in transfer request. Joins us, year later Morata joins us too.
