Both wouldn't surprise me. We're getting to the stage though where we end up with too many options for the same positions. Dani Alves, Lichtsteiner, Conti, De Sciglio, Asamoah, Spinazzola, Lirola - at some point you have to make a choice on two starters. Obviously The older two will move on in the next year or so and we can send players out on loan for a season or two but spending money on players you aren't immediately using ties it up so it can't be used on other objectives.
Maybe we're just at a stage now where we put our resources into only the best young players (and the odd "opportunity" that arises) and continually recycle the team over a period of 4-5 years.

Why would Bayern reject signing Coman when they already confirmed they will sign him while other clubs are already interested for bigger sums..
