Suso as a backup to Cuadrado, perhaps. Would rather see someone that could actually compete for a starting spot. But I suppose we're going to allocate the budget towards other positions. I would prefer to end that sentence with a question mark.

We need more firepower on our wings. Mandz and Cuads are ok, but not great. We need 2 guys who can create and score for themselves, with WC endproduct.

Until that doesnt happen..we will not go up the next level. Its simple.

Sanchez is a very good start

We can't play those wingers in this formation though. We need the workhorse types like Mandzukic and Cuadrado as it is. It's really more like a 4-4-2.

The flair and fancy wingers can usually only play in a 4-3-3. They would need 3 CMs to balance them.

But the solution is really simple. Dybala is RW, and you buy a LW. Then you play 4-3-3. I mean, where do people think Dybala would play at Barca or Real if they bought him? He's an inside forward for those teams.

Just buy Sanchez and be done with it. Sanchez-Higuain-Dybala.

Using heavily linked players:

Sanchez-Higuain-Dybala
Pjanic-Marchisio-Tolisso

E fatta.

If you want to get ambitious:

Higuain
Sanchez-Bernardeschi-Dybala
Pjanic-Marchisio

Bernardeschi as the real #10 :tuttosport:

I haven't seen much of Tolisso, but if we can get Sanchez plus a CM, it would be perfect. We could play

Sanchez-Higuain-Dybala

Pjanic-Marchiso-New guy

Sandro-Chiellini-Bonucci-Lichtsteiner

or

Higuain

Sanchez-Dybala-Cuadrado

Pjanic-new guy

Sandro-Chiellini-Bonucci-Lichtsteiner

One of Sanchez or Bernardeschi plus a good talented CM (like Tolisso seems to be, I haven't watched him much) would be a great mercato in itself.

Bring back Spinazzola and that's pretty much it in terms of arrivals.

I agree with Dybala as a RW. His left foot will always be ready and he will have way more space than he has in the middle. If we can get a better AM,, for sure he can be a staple there with cuadrado as back up.

Dont mind people saying he cant play there because he is a SS and all that yada. He obvs can and will come way more natural than being an AM.

If Cuadrado and Mandzukic are good enough to start for us then clearly Bernardeschi is too. Better than both.

Remember when Dybala moved after half a good season at Palermo and became a starter almost immediately?
