Sanchez will also become impossible if there's a bidding war. No way we compete with PSG financially.

Also a lot depends on our CL results when we're talking about big acquisitions such as this or for clubs like PSG for that matter.

Man, I grew old.

Back in the day every single transfer looked possible in my eyes. Nowadays it just makes me laugh most of the time. :D
It's the reverse, for so long we gotten used to thinking this or that isn't possible for Juve after our rebuild. But now litterally what's possible for us has become considerably elevated. Sanchez is certainly doable for us if we want him.

Higuain was the first transfer when we saw that. But still when you look at our transfers during the summer it's rarely filled with big names as majority predicts we'll do (not only Rakib sadly).

Sanchez is doable if we want him, maybe, but only if we make one major sale. People forget how much we got for Pogba in order to purchase others during the summer.

Sanchez won't cost Higuain money. Plus with every summer we see that we need less quantity and more quality so our ability to concentrate our efforts on fewer top quality signings and less comprising has become evident. As is our improved ability to attract top players.

Only thing we need to get better at stop fucking selling your best players and painting yourself as stepping stone to top few best clubs or EPL money.

Yes but we won't pay the asking price which is going to be huge which the likes of PSG would be willing to pay even if he had only 2 months left on his contract.

He won't cost as much but he surely won't cost less than 60mln euros. They paid for him a lot and there's no way they'd end up in a loss (with wages added).

Quality over quantity has been talked about ever since we had Grygera and others in the team.

I'll believe it when I see it. And I don't think I'm gonna see it any time soon unless we make a big sale. I'm not saying we can't sign anyone unless we sell, but imo we won't sign anyone big (aka world class players).

Sanchez here would fit like a glove. It's not very often you see a player fitting so much to a team's plan/mentality/targets.

Assuming that we are going to keep playing the 4-2-3-1, he can play in any of our forward 4 positions (for which right now we have 1 proper backup, Pjaca, and another one if you consider Pjanic as a backup AMC). Very creative and hardworking player. He knows Italy well. And guarantees immediate performance (which Juve targets with Higuain being 29, Buffon leaving, etc). He just looks perfect. And I see him pushing hard to get out of Arsenal in the summer to go somewhere and finally win something.

For the moment being, I don't see us needing another MC if we don't intend to change to a 3 man midfield, Veratti and Tolisso are awesome players but for a 2 man midfield, Pjanic, Marchisio and Khedira as a starters with Rincon, Mandragora and the Uruguayan Boca kid as a backup, look more than enough for now.

Also, Paris does not need him. With Draxler and Di Maria as a starters and Moura as a sub.

Sanchez, a backup LB and maybe another RB (depending on the form of Daniel Alves after the injury) and we are set to go.

Damn, I let my expectations get high this morning.

Honestly i'm at loss for this summer mercato.
We can hardly improve.
Definetly we'd need a right back and one between Lich and Dani alves have to go.
Lichsteiner has always been our swiss train but lacking everything else. He is now 33-34years old making many fouls and costed us quite a bit this season in terms of goals conceded.
Dani Alves is 33 as well but he seems like he is on holiday and played really bad so far. Plus both him and Lich complain if they're benched.

thinking about it we could try Danilo which has been totally benched by Real. It can be a chance. And in 2018 Lirola will come back to us.

Actually we have a lot of midfielders Pjanic,Marchisio,Khedira,Sturaro,Rincon and Mandragora.
Problem we're now playing a 2 man midfield and beside Pjanic,Marchisio and Khedira the rest is not up there quality speaking.
We'd need a 4th reliable and strong midfielder.
But honestly i'd struggle to show someone the door. Rincon he is new and came cause we needed someone in case of anyone getting injured. And with Khedira in your team this is always a possibility.
Plus Marchisio has been injured for months and just came back playing.
Sturaro in 2015 really impressed me. But since then he didn't improve and when was given chance he didn't do too well (or rather he was BAD).
But he is 23 years old and Italian and needed for new FIGC rules.

The only one who can basically is Mandragora who has been injured since he joined us. He'll prolly be loaned somewhere (Genoa)

Now considering we'll stick (dunno maybe the new manager this summer will change formation again) to a 2man midfield who could we go for which we'll help us improve?

There are many names but most are out of reach for many reasons.
Without thinking about who would warm the bench?? and how'd they react?

Tough choice. If I were Rakib I would say Dahoud,Verratti,Goretzka. Also Rabiot really impressed and his contract will expire next summer (2018).
So if I were to say someone it would be either Dahoud or Goretzka and Tielemans. Both are young and could accept to be benchers switching between Pjanic-Marchiso and Khedira.

so final answer is : Pick one from Dahoud,Tielemans and Goretzka. My choice would be Goretzka.

Attack at the moment we lack someone on Cuadrado's role as if he get injured or anything we'd have to switch to 4-3-1-2 role or move Dybala there with Pjanic taking Dybala role behind Higuain.
Many wants a high profile like Sanchez.
He is not too old but neither young and would cost really a lot.
I'd like someone a bit young with more pace and dribblings.
I'd pick one between Bernardeschi, Ryad Mahrez, Bernardo Silva and Salah.
Salah would be my ideal option. He is 24years old. Really fast and quite clinical. He already scored 8 goals and 7 assist for Rome and has played African Coup missing some games.
Bernardeschi would my second best choice. He is 23 years old , Italian (that's matter a lot for new rules and for keeping the team with a italian core). He scores a lot this season. Already 10goals.
My only worries about him is that Sousa often play him in a different Role. And he woudn't be the classic right winger. I see him more like a second striker or an attacking midfielder. Plus he is no Cuadrado or Salah when talking about pace.
Third Mahrez. 25years old he is in a second rated english team. I think he would be cheaper than Bernardeschi or Salah (considering they play in Fiorentina and Roma) he has the quality and proved it in Leicester wonder season.

my pick is Salah

As cbs if we keep Benatia we're set. Else let's bring Caldara in.

Goalkeeping. For the next year we're set with Buffon. Once he retires we should go either for Donnarumma or for Oblak.

Why would Sanchez be unlikely to come here? He is definitely leaving Arsenal this summer, has only a year left on his deal so we can negotiate a much cheaper price for him and I can't see Arsenal selling to a direct rival (Chelsea for example), like they did with RVN and others. We nearly signed him in 2011 before he went to Barca, he has played in Italy before and knows the league well, and we are one of the strongest teams in Europe. The only other top club I can see going for him is PSG.

I like Keita, but I want us to be greedy bastards and not go for "potential" signings and go for finished articles like Sanchez instead.

The beautiful thing is that Alexis can play on the wing, as a CAM or if need be as an out and out striker. Fucking hell, I hope we sign him.

i can see us getting Alexis tbh. is on low wages for a player of his caliber, fits the new formation and team mentality like few other players out there and is on his last year in Arsenal, who i dont think will try to keep him at all costs if he tells them to sell him. now the question is, will he pick us over Bayern or PSG, which will both be after him i think, even though PSG just bought Draxler who plays the same position as Sanchez. in case he does chose one of the 2 before us, i wont be disappointed with Keita either, even though i prefer Anderson

Dude he'd be perfect for us. He is a Cuadrado that score at least 10gol per season and he is 4-5younger than him.

I just don't see it happening. He's probably going to want close to 11 million, and our current ceiling is 7.5. Perhaps in a couple of years, if we can raise our ceiling to 9 million Euros he could become a real target, but currently I don't think it's going to happen. I also have a feeling PSG would be in pole position, and if he wants to stay in the EPL, he will push the management to sell him to Chelsea or City (or risk losing him on a free).

Sassuolo CEO Giovanni Carnevali confirms “there was an agreement with Juventus” for Domenico Berardi, but the player decided to stay.

It was widely expected that the forward would move to the Bianconeri last summer, due to a gentleman’s agreement when his co-ownership was resolved.

Instead, Berardi opted to stay with the Neroverdi, and it has been confirmed that the decision was entirely down to the player.

“Domenico was co-owned by Juventus, then we decided to make a major investment and sign him completely,” Carnevali told TRC.

“Juventus tried to take him back, in fact there was an agreement with the Bianconeri for him to go at the end of last season.

“The player’s choice was decisive in him staying.”
