Because he's injured? Even when he returns to training he'll need a month or two to be game ready, and I wouldn't expect him to totally comfortable until the second half of the season at the earliest.

Don't forget though Manbro is also cover for CF and Bernardeschi for CAM. They are not strictly covering 2 positions. A few injuries and it will be obvious why we need them
