Generally speaking guys like Tolisso, Kessie and Kondogbia have a huge upside in them if they turn great and still have decent recent value even if they're as bad as Kondogbia was at Inter. would much rather see us signing CM's with future to be excited about not the 28-30 yo's we've been after since last summer like Matuidi, Witsel, Rincon, N'Zonzi or Matič.
But of course you need to consider their level, Kessie or Kondogbia instantly improve our reserves not our starters, but I'd rather do that and have hope that they fulfill their promise than do a half-ass attempt at improving Khedira/Marchisio
Its hard to attract players to Serie A right now so we have had to rape and pillage payers that are alreaddy here. Not good for some relationshipd but was needed
Or we expected to sign one of Costa and Bernardeschi + Schick and when we found out we could sign both we decided to back out of the Schick deal and use his heart condition as an excuse, even though it wasn't anything serious. I guess we'll find out. We'll definitely be a laughing stock if he turns out great somewhere else.

We won't because when we found he have a heart problem we didn't backed out, we jus wanted different type of deal to secure ourselves, which is reasonable thing to do especially when you are investing 30m.
