Fabinho would be extra useful if we were to sell Lichtsteiner.

his versatility is an added bonus. but he became a prime midfielder this season, so i'd consider him as a starter midfielder, regardless of the tactics we'll use.

Nzonzi is a good passer, doesn't attack but keeps possesion well(not just a big body but smart enough to keep things ticking ala busquets) . He is much much better at winning the ball and holding down the fort, his physical presence is fairly insanely all towering dominant. Defenitely could use this approach to free up rest of midfield to focus on attack. I seen him almost single handedly dominate Barca and Real mids defensively. If we have instead of Khedira both Pjanic and Dybala could attack more and wingers won't need to be 2nd fullbacks as much.



Fabinho could be useful in this way too tho not as good ball winner, but the added bonus he is better running with the ball.

n'zonzi's passing is rock solid, his possession play is also fine, i give him that. but for a dm, he's not too strong in tackling or winning the ball. that's why i think he'd be a sideways step.

fabinho has been on the top of my wishlist for years. he'd be a brilliant signing.

Dani Alves being here shouldn't put us off Conti. Alves is super old and has little left (in terms of longevity), he will need to be replaced. Plus, Allegri has played Alves forward many times. I think if we keep sandro and alves and play 4 at the back with both in the FB positions then a 3 man midfield is needed for sure. Both FBs are attacking so we need a solid DM which a fit marchisio covers well. Pjanic and Tolisso fits the bill well. But besides khedira we have no quality on bench. Lemina sturaro and rincon need to go. So we need at least two midfielders to cover the DM role and the 2 way roles. Can bentancur be one? Wtf not i say. Just need one more quality midfielder.

Forwards...higuain dybala and bernardeschi sound good to me. Cuadrado and pjaca can cover the starting support roles. Schick and mandzukic seems to excessive. Should we cash in on mandzukic before he gets older? Schick is impressive.

Add conti and de sciglio for cover at FB. Barzagli to retire or go to the USA...give more time to rugani.

Players have enough power as is, if your destination is offering only 12m because they expect player to wait out his contract, then how the heck are Lazio supposed to act? Tell him accept the offer that is 25m/30m from elsewhere or sit out as you claim to threaten, it's that easy. He has contract to honour.

talk to juve? talk to the player? work on a compromise? it's 8th june, there's 2 other months to find a solution.

forcing a player to a club he doesn't want and threatening him to bench him for a whole season are neither ethical, nor good for your reputation. not that lotito would care about either of those anyway.

also, about honoring a contract: does a player contract contain that a player's current owner will pick the player's next destination for him, and the player has to accept it? it's football, not fucking slavery.
