I know but mandzukic isn't enough I feel he didn't play dirty enough yesterday infact carvajal was the one doing it. I'm convinced arrogance and generally being an arsehole plays a huge part in winning CL.

IMO him, Higuain and Dybala have been burnt to the ground this season plus Pjaca got injured at the wrong moment.

We literally have zero attacking subs. Improving our attacking depth by adding quality and retaining our best players could still somehow make me believe that we can challenge for the CL next season.

Thats partly true, but mentality plays a part too. Like carvajal and Ramos were out there for war. Chiellini is capable of that but oh boy he was missing.

Either way, I still think someone whose an arsehole, as well players 2 Of which have CL experience. Attacking subs is a must. When you spend 90m on a striker, it's hard to sub him. Even if we had a decent choice on bench, which we didnt. Dybala doesn't like to get substituted as we saw earlier this season but even he will have to accept coming off.

IMO the key to beat the Spaniards is in the middle
VS Barcelona in 2015 we were on par but lost 3-1 due to their amazing attack - If we have an attack like theirs we can fight it against them
VS Barcelona in 2017 we won not because of our amazing tactic it was more due to the fact they were simply horrible and played without a midfield and a manager!
VS Real in 2015 we beat them and got a draw away because of our great midfield
VS Real in 2017 we were simply not good enough in midfield and even in the so called good 1st half (which I still claim was a bad one) we didnt really create anything part for the 2 long shots by Higuain and Pjanic

Verratti is quality and he would add a lot to our play but honestly the best for me is Pogba as he was physical and great at attacking! and this is where we should look for
Naby Keita could be a good option

Which was why I think that the Lemina-Dybala sub, as ludicrous as it appeared on TV, was a subtle message to the board that Allegri needs more attackers to make this formation work on a consistent basis

Verratti :80ml
Schick : 25ml
Spinazzola : return from loan
Conti: 25 ml

Switch to a 4 3 3 of sorts

Don't tell me we can't afford 150ml either

Out players like Rincon, Lemina, Asa, Licht.

It's the only way we will have a good chance of getting there again.

People forgetting already Pogba failed to take responsibilities when he got the no 10 and instead too busy on social media and his dab crap. Pogba didnt take that next step when he was given the chance to lead the line.

I would go out big this summer and get 2 players between Mbappe, Verratti, Bernadeschi, Di Maria, Douglas Costa, maybe there are 1-2 other potential names which escape my mind.

Robben was thats true, but Martinez and Schweini on the midfield was the reason we had the best midfield/defence that season. They were just so good and like a wall
