I would be glad if we get him, he has great ability but always had mental problems. This season he seems to finally grew up and had great season. Meret is a nice talent and I would like us to sign him, but really its totally to early to say if he could replace Gigi.

Neto is leaving for sure. He's been linked to Napoli and Lazio recently.

I read that the only obstacle in Chesney deal is that he might not want to be a backup to Gigi for 1 year with the WC approaching but apparently we're 'working' on it.

If this goes through, maybe we can expect him to get more starts than Neto usually does. Chesney had a good season with Roma.

good point - it won't make sense for him, unless marotta promised him a starting role after 2018, when gigi's supposed to retire
