Even though Di Maria is obviously still a quality player, I am not a big fan of bringing him to Juve. For me he peaked at Real and havent been the same since. I could see him flop massively here and then get shipped of to China a year later. If he does come I hope we turn him back to a LCM like under Ancelotti.

If Iniesta is a possibility we should do it. For me he is still the best CM in the world when he is fit.

One of only 5 Spanish players id take at Juve, other than Morata, Thiago, Fabregas and de Gea. Would be a massive statement signing above all, but also could still give us 2-3 world class years i believe. Him and Miralem in the middle damn, wed be able to keep the ball for decades
Yup we can see already how the experience of Barca's core players can make a huge difference in the CL with Alves. With the superior tactical discipline of Juve, that guy's creativity can be harnessed to devastating effect.

If we sign him up this summer... then maybe you know who at Barca will follow suit in a couple of years as well :D

Iniesta hasnt been the same player since euro. Yes he is classy player but he is also 33. Injury issues might creep in, already have those issues with Khedira and Marchisio. I would like us to sign someone with more long term future.

Di Maria im very very mixed about. On his day he is better than Douglas Costa. But both have been inconsistent really. And we just signed Cuadrado permanently.

Why are we linked with some 28 year old Porto central defender?

That's a myth this season. He's played 2489 mins in Serie A. 5th in our team, more than Bonucci, Pjanic, and Sandro.

Well considering his career and his last season you can never rule out injury with Khedira. Every season is different, next season injury issues might return.

Iniesta is class but yeah he is also getting older and might have injury issues creeping in and then we still will end up playing the Sturaros and Leminas in some big game. And he simply isnt a long term signing anymore. Replacing 30 year Khedira with 33 year old Iniesta at this stage is not the right way to go about. When we signed Pirlo who turned 33 in 2012 people were saying here that we just signed a washed-up hasbeen. Now people are going nuts over same age Iniesta. Interestingly Barca pretty much has no midfield this season. That includes Iniesta. He did bring a good save out of Buffon but he hasnt been the same player he was since euro16. He is getting old and i would like us to go sign a younger long term options instead. Otherwise in a year or two time we will have to replace all of the Marchisios, Iniestas and Khediras.

I don't think a big signing is necessary in the midfield anymore. Remember that a player usually isn't truly back after a torn ACL until the second year. Marchisio should be back to form next season. He's only 30 and never really relied on athleticism. He should be fine. I also really like the 4231 formation going forward. I would focus the resources on other positions. Bentancur is going to be really good too imo. Watched him vs Italy u20. I think he's ready to be a squad player for us. Same with Mandragora. Bentancur has massive versatility. He can play anywhere in the midfield pretty much.
