Sure not a financial burden, but seeing his face around our facilities was an aesthetic and resource burden, wanted him out for a while. Mckennie survived, hopefully he's the next one in the winter mercato.

No we paid him 1.5m, which I think is half of his salary, to leave. No loan.

That's why his contract situation/ sale should of been sorted out before the end of last summer.

The injury and fact that he wanted to wait until after the Euros before signing anything really helped made a mess of the situation but it never should of been allowed to turn out this way.
