According to 'L'Equipe', an attempt could be made right at the end of the transfer window and for a player that Motta himself knows very well. We are talking about Arnaud Kalimuendo , a 22-year-old Franco-Congolese who was very close to landing in Serie A a couple of seasons ago.

No way we’re getting 4 players in 7 days. We’re lucky if we manage Koopmeiners and one of Nico or Sancho.

But I have a feeling we’re getting just one at the end of the transfer window and maybe a Bremer renewal.

Alright so it's obviously an aborted mercato. Giuntoli should have had backups which he could have gone for even if he didn't want them, to leverage into a deal.

We seemed to have that for CB but we made moves one at a time, so it was obvious we were getting more desperate each time.

But having said all that, what's better now? Overpay and have the players or don't pay anything and face the season with the squad we have now?

Genuinely what would people prefer?

Either way, I feel a bit of optimism not in terms of results but in terms of a watchable Juve. I still think it will take time to gel but there is a level of excitement actually.
If we get Koop and N.G - We would have a very good midfield supporting trickster on the right and Yildiz on the left with that new kid providing depth. Koop in the middle supported by D.Luiz and Thuram.
The two remaining questions will be CB and CF - CB since Kalulu isnt really going to solve anything, CF since Vlahovic might not deliver the way we want him to.
