I dont know where is the corect thread to ask this but... does anybody knows how many "home grown players" do we have to have in the squad to compete in Serie A and in Champions League?

Rugani for Serie A
Fagioli, Miretti, Pinsoglio, Rouhi, Hans for both along with Yildiz next year, I think.

Hans will not stay and I assume Miretti will leave on a dry loan. Meaning we can only register 23 players for CL, if I understand it correctly.

We also need 8(? don't remember) trained in Italy. Where we can add Locatelli, Di Gregorio, Gatti, Cambiaso etc.

If we consider that Rugani, Miretti and Hans are gonna get either sold or loan to another tems, that leave us with 8 italian players on the team (Locatelli, Fagioli, Savona, Perin, Pinsoglio, Gatti and Di Gregorio) but also leaves with only 5 "home grown players" (Yilidiz, Savona, Fagioli, Pinsoglio and Rouhi)... so I think the having only 5 home grown players means we can only register 23 players in Champions League?

You only need four club HG in CL squad (25 players). Savona, Fagioli, Rouhi and Pinsoglio is club HG. Yildiz won't be until next year IIRC. I didn't know Savona came from us, but you seem to be correct. That would mean we can register a full squad, if those four are included.

The eight from Italy should easily be covered.

This used to be an issue for us and why I wanted us to have our NG for so many, many, many years (among several others reasons). Why it hasn't happened until so recently is just dumb. But I think until last year this hasn't and hopefully won't be an issue for us again.
