If Giuntoli pulls that off, which I have zero confidence in him actually doing, I'll say he did a good job in terms of bringing in talent this summer. Koopmeiners is the make or break guy, as he'd be the prized signing they wanted this summer and would be the final piece of a complete makeover of the midfield that was so badly needed.

The problem is, he will have done it after the season already started and lost time we couldnt afford to lose with a new coach, new system, and so many new players.

I have zero expectations of winning, or even realistically competing for the league, but I worry that a slow start meshing all these new players together could lead to a very slow start with a hug hole to dig out of. But at this point, I'd be more than happy to settle for that.

I actually think Conceição is a worthy bet.
He's really talented, still only 21yrs and already had some very good performances not only in the League but in the CL and Portugal NT as well.

If the price is right we should do it imo.
Yes Nico is more ready and established, but the potential and talent of Conceição are higher.

Beyond stupid for how Giuntoli and Motta handled all of those players. All of those players should've been training with the club all summer until they were either sold or loaned out. But hey, "WE HAD TO SET A PRECEDENT!!!"

The only one I understood was Szczesny, as his replacement was already signed and he publicly said he would move on if the club wanted him to.

And any club that actually has interest in any of those players would be stupid to NOT wait until the final 24-48 hours to make a move for them, as Giuntoli has proved he's desperate to get rid of them and will be unloaded for the lowest price/best loan terms possible.

If there are clubs out there with any interest in Chiesa, just wait until the last day and lowball the hell out of Giuntoli and dare him not to take it.

This club is a ship of fools, and Giuntoli is the captain.

Yeah, I reckon Locatelli will start and we’ll gradually use Thufam as a starter. But look at this team, do you think this team can challenge for the scudetto?

We can't win the scudetto .
We need 3 good players in defence regardless of Cambiasso , Danilo and Cabal and kalulu if he comes.
Someone suggested cancelo on loan .
With him we would only need 2 , but a great center back and a another consistent full back is a must.
We may also need another great striker if DV7 form doesn't improve significantly .
And all of this besides getting koop and nico .
We simply don't have the money this year.
Top 3 , at least reach the knockout stages of the cl and at least a Copa final should be a decent goal, while significantly improve our playing style.
