On paper, are we stronger or weaker than last season?
Even if we have a stronger squad on paper it does not say much because it is slightly better. The difference is that last season we Serie A and Coppa, this season we have CL also and by the summer that glorious friendly tournament. Add to that a new coach who might be a one season wonder, we don't know more about him.

So to sum it up we are worse than last season. Also take into consideration that our opponents have take a step or two forward.

Seems like PSG is about to sign Doue, we should consider putting in a loan + option bid on Barcola. It is unlikely that PSG would be looking to sell and that we would even consider this, but still, would be worth a try.

Juventus are working to sign Kalulu, on following terms:

- €3.5M loan fee
- €14M option-to-buy
- €3M bonus
- 10% on a future resale fee

Operation worth total of around €21M.

[@DiMarzio)
So Kalulu + Cabal for a combined fee of around 34m

What the actual fuck is Giuntoli doing.

Just buy one good defender you clown. I thought the days of quantity over quality was gone when Paratici left.

Sadly I was wrong.

If he is healthy I think he is better ball carrier than Calafiori, at least he is faster
I think Motta want to do his magic twice after getting Calafiori for 4m and with his ACL, now he want to try with Kalulu , actually both have similar type of play, they love to bring the ball from defense up to the third of the pitch

Look if we get Calafiori from Basel with his ACL for 4m everyone will have the same reaction with this Kalulu, that is the only thing that I will say

I can see the logic - 3.5m for the loan and OPTION to buy. He is a bit of a gamble because of his injury but if he turns out really good then paying the money later would make sense. Still no idea how good he is.
here here the common sense, key word OPTION not obligation

taken from Milan forum:
"Kalulu would be a very pure plusvalenza. "

Damn i thought we were the only one damned by this plusvalenza thing, this shit so funny to me.
Because he was signed for 1m from Lyon B. He never had s top flight match before Milan.

It’s worse than that. We were looking for a starter CB to bench Gatti but instead are signing someone that missed the entire season. We don’t have a real plan.
It takes at least a few months before he gets back to his form.
Well, I think we do but it has obviously changed to the attack once Todibo slipped away. That money is now going to Gonzalez.

From what I've read he's been fit for a few months now but 4 big muscle injuries in recent years is very worrisome.

Every Serie A team obsesses over it, it's league brand hemorrhaging revenue loss in the billions over past years.

Milan signed Kalulu from Lyon as youth player for 1m in 2020. So any sale in their books will be pure plusvalenza profit (like our next gen sales was for us).

If he didn't get big injury last season and kept being good starter, they could probably sold him to premier league for 30-40m.

Sad but true. I was critical of Giuntoli last summer, perhaps harshly given the time of his arrival, but this summer has been a shit show, only thing seemingly fixed is the midfield but at the expense of creating more problems elsewhere.
