Rumours of Maxence Lacroix as an option. Though Liverpool, crystal palace and Bayern are also supposedly interested in him. Anyone know if he's any good?

Why is it fuck Hermoso but ok for Badiashile? Latter been more of a flop for Chelsea while Hermoso was starter for most years except the last one.
1 - It's lower risk financially in the short term at least, I just don't think what Hermoso wants in terms of wages and contract length is viable, I'm sure we can negotiate Chelsea to contribute a portion of the wage too. Badiashile is earning something like £4.5 mill gross a year, I think even that is somewhat viable, and if hermoso doesn't work out we're stuck with his wages and contract.
2 - I'm fully aware he flopped last season but to be honest with the exception of Cole Palmer hardly anyone covered themselves in glory, but what I do know and have seen is his time at Monaco, I feel he is a better fit in the way we hope to play.
3 - Do we really have any other decent and viable options?

such a weird squad chelsea is. they have too many players. we could get someone on loan like fofana or Madueke.
Weird? Chelsea is a role model. People expect Giuntoli to act like that. Keep erveryone that may turn out half decent in the long run and buy a dozen new guys too ofc.

So; Cambiasso Bremer Weak spot another weak spot; D.Luiz Thuram; Yildiz Koop N.G; Vlahovic
CB is a must otherwise we wont make it to CL next year
RB is obviously needed but not as a CB
So if we dont get a really good CB this season is going to waste.
LW is also needed as even if we believe in Yildiz, he cant play all the minutes. We need an alternative that will replace him when needed (or even better replace him in the starting 11) and pushes him to realize his potential.

Atalanta is resisting selling Koopmeiners more out of personal frustration rather than financial reasons as they don't want strengthen a direct rival.Juventus is hopeful that the situation will change in the coming weeks, allowing them to make an offer of 50mln€ plus bonuses.

They will accept it right away.. No need to wait for the situation to change.. The question is can we finalize a deal now or do we need to wait for some cash to arrive.

Just a reminder to everyone. As it stands, the only players that we have lost from last year's squad are: Sandro, Alcaraz, Iling Junior, Rabiot and Kean. We have added Di Gregorio, Cabal, Douglas Luiz, Thuram and Adzic. Fagioli is like a new acquisition given he was banned for most of last year.

The fact that squad looks thin is because a lot of players have been frozen out. Szczesny, De Sciglio, Rugani, McKennie, Chiesa, Kostic. (Milik I think is back in the project but recovering).

We came 3rd in the league last year and played terrible football. I would argue that overall, our midfield is stronger whereas there is not much change in Defence and Attack at this point.

Just thought its worth highlighting for context as many believe the team is disasterous. Worst case, if we can't get the players we want, we could choose to reintroduce the players frozen out - not ideal but that is the worst case scenario.

Wait; we lost Alex Sandro? We're doomed.
