If we keep Chiesa, get this guy and Koop, our attack looks solid tbh
Exactly, Our Mid to Attack will be much improved from last season. GK also improve especially in GK that can build from the back.

For defense, nothing change could still ve OK, no need panic buying. keep Djalo or Facundo. We actually upgrade it a bit from Sandro to Cabal.

Timing wise

If the Nico thing is true

It seems instead of allocating the money to Todibo we have chosen to use it for Nico
Seems like it

Probably right decision given that winger is more of an urgent priority than CB. I always suspected we do not have enough funds to sign all our rumored targets.

Now if we can somehow nab Laporte for free(along with Koop ofc), it would cap off a solid-ass mercato.

No chance with his wages
Nobody in Europe is going to pay the kind of money he earns in Saudi

Laporte wants to return to Spain though apparently

I understand selling Soule can fund the obligation to buy purchases. But.. are these players good?

If you just plug your nose and gave chiesa the contract, keep soule and tek (forget 4th keeper until 2025), how much worse are you by funding other purchases with huijsen, kean and the others?

Juventus are moving rapidly forward in negotiations for Nicolás González.

Loan transaction with obligation to buy.

The Argentine footballer already has an agreement with the Juventus club on his contract.

Juventus is also getting closer to Teun Koopmeiners. The latest discussions with Atalanta have been positive.

These are the signings Giuntoli can’t miss out on, specifically Koop. I also wonder if they’re going after Nico because Chiesa is staying. Because if he is, a right winger makes more sense than someone like Galeno.

If we sign Gonzalez and keep Chiesa (with hopes to extend his contract), I think Juve fans will be ok with how the window turns out. We'll have 3 real wingers and will have improved the midfield with Luiz and Thuram. There would definitely be some disappointment missing out on Calafiori, Todibo, & Koopmeiners, but in general, it would be decent. I'd give it a C- to C type grade. Passing, but a bit uninspiring and disappointing.

Signing Koopmeiners would put it over the top and satisfy everyone. Upgrading the midfield was my #1 priority this summer, and this would be more than doing that. This would be a much needed complete overhaul.

There will still be holes in the back, but Rome wasn't built in a day, and this squad needed a lot of work done.

If we only bring in Gonzalez, but Chiesa leaves and we fail to sign Koopmeiners, fans will be calling for Giuntoli's head (and rightfully so).

That's where I am at this point.

Is this source reliable? Last I heard Atalanta put a wall up on Koop
