As it stands, I feel most comfortable with Danilo and Bremer as the central defence partnership. Maybe have Cambiaso playing RB and Cabal LB.

But will it really be 2 man at back? I mean we have one offensive full back in Cambiaso. The other alternatives are Danilo and this next gen guys. Nowe of them are ofensive. In the end it will 3 at the back anyway

Yeah, we could see Motta pointing at the back line with 3 fingers up during the game against Next Gen too. And Danilo said it after the game too, so in that case Danilo and Cabal seem like the easy choices imo.
