Pedulla says Bologna want Milik and Rugani. I think we can include one of them in a deal for Cala... oh wait
Bologna can have them for 50 mill or fuck off.

Piece of shit club will regret fucking us around. Time to stamp some fucking respect to our name, teach these peasant clubs that we will not be extorted

They are just looking after their own interests. Why not take 50m from Arsenal compared to our 35m from us. Would have been different if Cala insisted on Juventus but he didn’t.

We should be indifferent if Bologna offers us a fair price.

:D we can't get koop coz he's too expensive, why not go for the more expensive player on koops team
I don’t know Lookman is more expensive, thought Koopmeiners scores more goals… apart from the Europa final I didn’t hear people hyping Lookman, also he already had a not-so-good stint in the PL so assumed he may have doubters in the PL

I think before the summer window start our 3 main targets were :- Di Gregorio, Calafiori and Koop.
We already secured one , in Di Gregorio. We might be missing Cala as it stands out , but the replacement is Todibo isnt too shabby .
I really hope we secure Koop cause he was the number 1 target for the window.

Ignoring the players the were not part of our team last year (such as Soule and Barrenechea)…. If the following transfers conclude:

IN:
Di Gregorio, full back?, Todibo, Luiz, Thuram, Koopmeiners, Adzic, Sancho, Adeyemi

Other next next gen inclusions: Savona and Nonge

OUT:
Szczesny, De Sciglio, Sandro, McKennie, Rabiot, Locatelli, Chiesa, Iling Junior, Milik, Kostic

Other players sold who were not on our roster:

Soule, Huijsen, Kaio Jorge, Barrenechea.

How would you rate that mercato? If the net spend is low, we would book a lot of plusvulenza and dramatically lower our wage bill all at the same time.

Well lets see... in your scenario we would have:

GK: Di Gregorio, Perin and Pinso

Fullbacks: Cambiaso, Danilo, new fullback, Djalo

CB: Todibo, Gatti, Bremer, Rugani, Savona

MID: Thuram, Douglas Luiz, Fagioli, Miretti, Adzic, Koop, Nonge, Locatelli

Wingers: Sancho, Yilidiz, Adeyemi, Weah

DC: Vlahovic

Im assumimg that players like Caviglia, Arthur, Facundo and Barbieri would be gone

Our GK is fine... our fullbacks could work (There are rumors that Gatti could be tested there)

I dont like our cb situation...we already know thats a position where we suffer on injuries, I would bring one more.

Our midfield would be great.

We are surely missing on striker at least and one winger in my opinion...

Considering that we will be playing 4 tournaments I think this team needs more depth.

So I would rate that mercato as a 7,5 - 8 of 10.

Danilo is probably going to be used as a centre back according to rumours. Adeyemi would probably also be a back up centre forward (of course this is pure speculation at this stage).

I wouldn’t be surprised is we go for a cheap centre forward with a strong work ethic or some exciting young unproven prospect.

All in all I think defence is better and midfield gets a huge upgrade. The wings and attack are debatable but probably an upgrade and more suited to Motta’s style of football.

Given the upgrade to the squad, reasonable net spend (in part assuming we can get a quality full back and Sancho on loan deals) , generate pkusvulenzas galore and lower the wage bill at the same time, I would rate it closer to a 9.

However executing all of those deals is going to be very tough. It would be the biggest squad revolution I can remember with 40-50% of the squad being entirely new.

I hope we dont go for Adeyemi, thats a bad signing .
To be honest I have no clue how good or bad he is. However he fits the profile of what I think we may go for. We know about Sancho already but if we let go of Soule, Chiesa and Milik, I suspect Motta wants someone who can play wide and also as a centre forward. So it could be someone similar in characteristics.

This team is fine - solid depth in midfield. Add one back-up striker (I would choose Morata but he prefers to be first choice in Milan than a backup role in Juve). Defence may need one more as Rugani is leaving. I guess we will use some benchwarmers from Next Gen to fill the gaps with injures.

The biggest upgrade was to delete Allegri, but I'm worried that we're sacrificing youth and creativity. I don't see how we're going to break down park the bus teams, surely that is what we'll encounter the most if our priority is going to be possession play. Surely it makes financial sense to keep Soulé and sell Chiesa, I think any good attacker will be 50M at least. Hopefully all rumours though. And yes, don't do favours to Italian teams that rip us off.

I'm not sold on Adzic, miretti and Nonge as 3 of 4 backup in midfield. I think Motta like Locatelli a lot. At least as a rotation player.

Sky Sport - Berardi piace alla Juventus

OMG, cant wait for Berardi-Gilardino attack:eek:
I think it depends on the context. Berardi is a gamble squad player in my view given his recent injury. So if say, Soule goes and we keep Chiesa or vice versa or we sell both and get Sancho.....we still need another winger. If Berardi comes cheap and with low salary, then maybe we have nothing to lose. So long as it is a cheap transfer without expecting him to be a starter, then Im ok with it. So long as its just that and nothing more - which is a distinct possibility mind you.
