The most epic of them all has to be the 2015(or 2016?) summer where we’ve been continuously linked to signing either Gotze or Draxler who were amongst the most highest rated CAM’s at the time only to end up with a inda reject Hernanes as a panic buy…

Overall it sure was a very promising mercatto from us, plenty of key departures too, and still just needed that attacking midfielder type to complete the squad that everyone would be hyped up about but ultimately couldn’t agree on the price so ended up with a panic buy to close the mercatto with.

Truth is that it’s not like either of Gotze or Draxler done much with their careers afterwards so i guess there were valid reasons to not overpay.

There’s sure been a few twisted sagas that we’ve experienced too, with the Pogba 2016 one as probably the most annoying of them all, but when it comes to panic buys the Hernanes one sure was in a league of it’s own for the way his name suddenly appeared almost out of nowhere and the fact he was rated levels below the players we’ve been previously linked with...

I doubt we are able to pay for a decent AM unless sacrifice Soulè or Hujsen, beside we really need to get a pair of good wing backs . We practically only have Cambiaso for that role.
