These rumours of Chiesa to Roma are disturbing. Valuation is ridiculous but maybe there's a tinge or truth to this. Maybe we just don't think he's good enough, but why? I'm I missing something here? His pedigree shouldn't even be up for question. He's a top player, a tier below world class but not far and if he played for Milan, or any other serie A club his valuation would be a whole lot higher.

Scrap realised his contract runs out next season. :sigh:

Also I find it a bit surprised that so far it seems that there is no big club after him, esp epl sides. Even if his contract expires next year, on the market he is in a real big disfavour.

Newspaper just trash talking on the quality he brings, it may be that Chiesa wants serie A stay which means we have to devalue him.

I'm trying to think of similar wingers who left on the last year of the contracts. Dembele left for psg for 50m, then there was sane who left for 60m. Both were mid 20s, coming from superior clubs, younger, and potential, and this was a few years ago. Asking for 35m shouldn't be unreasonable.

More smoke about Nicolo Savona being promoted to the first team. Wonder if he’ll be another FB~CB project for Motta like Calafiori. Could have an impact on who they bring in for depth.

Todibo's priority, at the moment, is to join Juventus. There are other clubs who want him but he's waiting for an official offer from Juventus.

Why go for a broken down Italian winger who commands high wages when you can get some quality prospect from France/Germany/Spain for half the price.

Huge reality check for those who worship Chiesa because he was good at that one Euro tournament 3 years ago...
