I don't see any rational reason for Bologna to sell Calafiori. Basel own 40% of his sell on fee, he has a contract til 2027, he is still only 22 and Bologna are getting a once in a century chance to play in the CL so they should retain as much of the squad as possible. They'd be absolutely retarded to sell, they'd need an absurd price of something like +60m for it to be worth at all for them.

They lost their most important piece already though in Motta.

I can see him staying and we signing him next summer to replace Bremer after some team activates his release clause.

A Bremer-Calafiori defensive duo was too good to be true anyway. He's not that big of a priority and most of this summer's budget should be directed towards fixing our midfield.

Although if we base him off the first 35 mina of the current italy v Spain game...you could say chiesa and his higher wage demands are not worth it either. In fact the whole team other than donna is shitful right now.
