Basel own 40% of his sell on fee, he has a contract til 2027, he is still only 22 and Bologna are getting a once in a century chance to play in the CL so they should retain as much of the squad as possible. They'd be absolutely retarded to sell, they'd need an absurd price of something like +60m for it to be worth at all for them.

I can see him staying and we signing him next summer to replace Bremer after some team activates his release clause.

A Bremer-Calafiori defensive duo was too good to be true anyway. He's not that big of a priority and most of this summer's budget should be directed towards fixing our midfield.
