i think he sees rabiot in rabiot

rabiot's best season was at psg when they mostly played 4-3-3 with verratti, motta, rabiot and matuidi in rotation. one thing is sure, he knows what rabiot is capable of. and that rabiot played a very different, mostly defensive game at a pretty high level. i'd take that rabiot over the current inconsistent pussy in a heartbeat
I actually saw Rabiot a couple times in Paris, and both times he played as a holding DM in a 4-3-3. He would still make some forward runs, but most of the time he was acting as a water carrier, sort of like a Busquets. I think that's his best role. He's strong physically, reads the game well, and even is decent in the air. But I guess his mommy convinced him he could be more, so Motta better get ready for tantrums if he wants to use him at DM.

You're right. Even I saw him as a Busquets when he was younger or a French version of Motta but I vaguely remember he and his mom(I think) whinging about playing as a deep midfielder and that eventually lead to his departure. Wasn't he put in the stands or something for refusing to sign a contract extension with them?

He's also on the wrong side of 29, at an age where he can easily make that transition. If he and his mom stop thinking he's Zidane or something, it could bode well for the rest of his career.

I always viewed Rabiot as defensively very strong but offensively very timid. Might fit Motta’s system better though, because the system values possession. As long as he’s playing next to someone more technical, like Fagioli, or possibly Koopmeiners, he should be fine.

I think it was more Allegri who asked him to score a lot

exactly. psg (just like barca in la liga) dominated the shit out of that league, so the whole team naturally played higher, that explains the forward runs. but he rarely scored, it simply wasn't his task as they had cavani on fire (he scored like 40-50 goals lol), later joined by neymar and mbappe. it was allegri who made rabiot make those runs much more frequently when it turned out that we can't rely on vlahovic/kean/milik, chiesa was still toast after his acl, and we still needed to score somehow. it was a welcome and much needed change in rabiot's performances, but if motta would really put a 4-2-3-1 on the pitch with chiesa, fagioli/koop, yildiz - vlahovic, then rabiot doesn't have to be our top scorer lol. i'd prefer him as a traditional dm just winning the duels, getting the ball and passing it to the closest team mate

GDM says Di Lorenzo(and Kvara) is untouchable for Conte.

thank god
Di Lorenzo is leaving because he wants to leave... He can be untouchable for Conte but he isnt interested in remaining. In other words GDM needs to understand when to give up..

Kvara is going to PSG as well. Osimeh will probably remain though.

G.D.L is actually a player I highly rate although at his age... I`d love us to get him and Kayode so Kayode could improve quietly without too much spotlight ruining his game.

Rabiot isnt extremely strong at anything.
Defense wise he is a bully and sometimes it works where in others he is meh.
Attacking wise - He is ok but he also has his bursts forward in which he is very difficult to stop as he is going forward like a train.
Overall he is a good player but he isnt a player who excel at about anything.

Five years for Di Lorenzo?

Plz not like this
I wouldnt worry too much. Tell him to do something fancy after two years and the Saudis will be all over him..

In a serious note D.L is a player I really like so obviously Im in favor of getting him but 3 years sounds more reasonable. My guess is that journalists are just guessing.

I really want Tiago Santos, so now I’m sure he will go elsewhere. Spinazzola would be fine, but primarily as a backup. I would keep one of Barbieri and Comenencia as well. Who are some other good fullbacks in the Uber eats league?

Spinna on a free would be ideal for rotation purposes.

Fuck rabiot...let him leave. I agree him playing a DM in a 433 wpuld work better for him but over seeing him have all the potentially and only use 30 percent of it game after game.

Not happy seeing soule rumours...we need more wingers for rotation...he would be ideal.

If EPL clubs come for our players, we really need to rape them of funds.

That peak with Chiellini at the Euro’s was great though

Pedulla said that McKennie agreed going to Aston Villa.

Who knows Douglas Luiz, is a swap a option?
We should be carefull with this. It's what Tici did that put us in difficult situation
Besides that i don't know but i've always had a doubt for lolzilian midfielder/forward
