speed still makes a big difference, and in todays game clubs seem to be prioritizing it. You wouldn’t want a younger/cheaper/more explosive Chiesa with more future value? And while he’s had injuries he still hasn’t had to deal with anything as serious as Chiesa that has had a real effect on his game. That said, his injuries are a fair concern.

Anyways, in just over 2,200 minutes he’s had 15 G+A in bundesliga. That’s the same as Soule, except Soule did it in 3,500 minutes. Chiesa at his best had 16 G+A in 2,200 minutes his first year at Juve. I guess my main point is if Adeyemi can’t play neither can the other two.

This is weak, to be blinded solely by stats. If you actually watch them play, Chiesa at his best is significantly better then Adeyemi. Zero doubt about it. Crazy to say otherwise.

Post injury Chiesa is another matter. But Adeyemi is very linear direct runner mainly, and currently misses more time due to injuries. Tho so far it hasn't effected his explosiveness like it has Chiesa.

Once fast players start getting injured it's very worrying, and Adeyemi is only 22.

He seems to get regular dose of smaller injuries throughout whole season. Instead of 1-2 big injuries like Chiesa did. ACL tear defenitely effects your athleticism and mentally. It did the same to Ansu Fati, like Chiesa he isnt the same dominant figure afterwards.

you didnt even know what foot he uses lol save the “if you actually watch him play” non sense. His goal rate is higher than Chiesas career average. Stats take feelings out, its more useful than the “eye test”

Lol, thats because he finishes with both feet since Salzburg days, and he is more likely to score then most natural wingers because his natural position from youth days is a nr 9 or 2nd forward.

Not a true winger. He doesn't have the all around game most good wingers does, run fast into space or crowds and try to finish is his primary way to play. Has good work rate too, but not much crossing, passing ability nor that great of a dribbler when doesn't have space. So speed, quick moves and shooting is his main qualities.

The fact you think he is as good or better then Chiesa who not only in overall a well rounded winger, but also was a top player before recent injuries is a joke. Rotation level player like Adeyemi being as good as good as Euros 2021 dominant Chiesa is a joke. Even if Chiesa is not that level of player anymore. But can grow back into it over time.

No, he can’t. That ship has sailed bro. Pre injury Chiesa is a thing of the past.

Time will tell.

Still too early to write him off. It usually takes a couple of seasons to get back physically and stop picking up muscle injuries. He's had those 2 years now, so this coming season is virtually make or break.

Can't he play both sides?

But why buy from a club who hate selling to us?
Because commisso is a closet Juve fan.

Give them Mckennie.

is this guy any good?
He's aeemingly Fiorentina's most dangerous attacker imo, I certainly prefer him to some of the other names we've been linked with.

Adeyemi had essentially an identical goal and assist rate as Chiesa and was superior to Soule. This narrative that he sucks is not based in reality.

its funny, barely anyone has mentioned his injury history. If there’s a concern it’s that. Because when he’s on the field he’s pretty good.
Player for player though Chiesa has more to his game than speed merchant Adeyemi, he sort of reminds me of a faster version of Krasic
