Overall there sure are some signs to be optimistic about but realistically speaking this mercatto is still far from being over, only once it’s officialy closed will we know if we actually managed to strengthen the squad accordingly or if we once again achieved the impossible and crippled an already weakened squad even further.

To be honest I like that line up a lot. Super subs could be Danilo for the defence. Locatelli or Thuram for the midfield. And Soule` & Milik for the forwards.

Important thing to remember. Motta likes his attacking wingers to be inverse - in other words....right footed on the left and left footed on the right. Hence Weah would be the sub for Yildiz and Soule for Greenwood. Greenwood is ambidextrous so can play on either side.
