Not in a central area, he played off a wider area at Shakhtar (Mkhitaryan central AM/SS) just as he does at Chelsea, but he was quite a roving AM player. He's good between the lines or in a fixed position. I think Mourinho has transformed him into more of a workhorse and more defensive winger (his stats also reflect that), but I'd be interested to see him given a more traditional AM role somewhere. At Juve doing that he'd be caught somewhere between Pogba and Dybala, which seems to be the position we're looking at. But then where does Cuadrado play? You'd also need to drop one striker.
