Why not? Pogba certainly has the conditions to play as AM. Strong, fast, skilled, good passing vision, a powerfull shot. Wouldnt hurt to trying him in that position.

In some ways he reminds me of Zidane.
He's not as good dribbler as Zidane, he's not as a good passer as Zidane was, he definetely can't controle the tempo like Zidane can.
And one of Zidan main qualities was his ability to make his teammates better, he got everyone involved. Pogba is definetly not that type of player.

In fact i personally find that Pogba is significantly better, when he has Marchiso covering behind him, instead of Pirlo whom he's forced to babysit
Was very rare for Juve to hold Pogba back.

It was almost invariably Marchisio or Vidal who were asked to cover Pirlo and allow Pogba freedom to play his normal game.

Yeah, but i found him playing a significantly more free game up front when Marchisio played. Partially because the midfield unit could move up and down the pitch faster while staying in shape

Arsenal is like the 3rd or 4th team in EPL. Do you expect to be taken seriously as equal to Italian 4th consecutive winners? When was the last time Arsenal won a major trophy?
I'm not sure, but I don't think @Fred sees Arsenal as equal to Juventus.

He is accusing a Juventus fan of being delusional to think that Pereyra is a superior player to most of the midfielders in Arsenal. So, if Arsenal mids are so damn good why are Arsenal struggling to win a major trophy like since 10 fecking years. Who the feck is the delusional madafaker?

Nothing against @Fred, I think he is a great poster and dude. But in this case I can't agree with him.

It's a rather redundant argument.

I bet Kroos is inferior to Pereyra too since he ended up trophyless last season.Or Mata for that matter.

Or Silva, or Isco.

Silly argument

Yeah, you are so on spot.

Kroos, Silva, Isco and Mata are just like Arsenal midfielders. They haven't won a major trophy in 10 years too. Right?

Trophies is won by a TEAM of 11 players not by a set of positions on the pitch. You can't grasp this simple concept ?

Why was Madrid struggling to make the CL knockouts for like 7 straight years despite having great individual quality in their forward line ?

Obviously not.

Really? Its that simple to you? Because I think its delusional to say Pereyra is a better am than santi Cazorla and Ozil (among many delusional opinions this fella zizinho has) then i must think that Arsenal have a better squad than Juve? Do you not think that maybe that's a tad too simplistic?

Maybe you werent here on the forum during our barren years but i thought we had a disgraceful squad between 2008-2012. Players like Denilson, Chamakh, Eboue, Flamini, Arteta, Adebayor, djourou, almunia and co starting for us week in week out ffs.

Winning is kinda important in football too. Some say it's the only thing that matters.

Real has won CL and the Spanish league in recent years, they are not comparable to Arsenal who are like Lazio - full of hot prospects that can better themselves in a club that aims for major trophies.

That's something else. You said Pereyra was better than most Arsenal midfielders. So is he better than Ozil? Cazorla?
