No doubt it's been a disappointing Mercato so far, I think the fact that our rivals getting stronger makes it worse than it probably is. For me the signings like khedira and mandzukic showed our intent but the dybalas and zazas keeps me tense. Just gotta hope that I'm proven wrong this season like I was the season before.

After all of these years, seeing the team grow and finally reaching the CL final. Haven't you set the bar higher going forward? Because you surely don't expect signings like this after the level we achieved last season?
In 2012 this would have been a great mercato, but not today.
How can everyone expect us to grow THAT much every single year? Sooner or later you need a transitional year to get the wage books in better condition, lower the age a bit and start getting newer & younger players experience while we still have experience players on the team. Inter after their treble comes to mind. They held onto their older players and high earners and look what happened.

But to go from tevez, Pirlo, Vidal to the likes of possibly vazquez, zaza, and relying on a broken khedira as well as gaps in key areas like AM really? that is what i call royally fucking things up. The board keep kidding themselves that they are a 'big club' and want to hit the european heights. Well this is definitely not the way to go about building on success. i can accept players move on but not for lesser ones and that is the major disappointment of it all

to go from gotze to vazquez? REALLY?

From CL final to losing Tevez, Pirlo and Vidal replacing them with a massive downgrade. This $#@! is worse than the Dortmund meltdown they had after CL final. At least they only lost Götze that summer.

And people were like 'yeah we're mighty Juventus so different from Dortmund and Atletico'.

Damn, this whole summer leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. After 9 years we're finally back in Europe's elite and this $#@! happens.
We lost Vidal and Tevez. as for pirlo, we sold Del piero and Camo and Trez before, and Pirlo isn't better than them, he is old and he is finished.
on the other hand we signed Dybala a young prodigy who is going to be great just give him time. now we are looking for a different type of a Cm to replace Vidal and change the dynamics of the team.
i think Marotta may had the best attentions to develop and rejuvenate the squad which is something great, but he did fuckup a lil doing this. not a great mercato. but it doesn't mean we will suck next year, and it doesn't mean we are like Dortmund and Atletico cause we won't and they will never be like us in the first place.
it is just not the best mercato and alot of teams do this shit time to time.

just a few weeks ago, people were thrashing Vasquez, asking for his thread to be closed and his name never mentioned as they were sure we'd buy a TQ of higher quality with the Vidal money, fast fwd today and people are defending Vasquez? I seen it all now

We're pretty much like Atletico. They lost Villa to a non-European league and Costa to a big European club, we lost Tevez to a non-European league and Vidal to a big European club.
and we both signed Mandzukic and Siqueira. They got Griezmann as a young prospect, and we got Dybala.
Good thing is our keeper is not here on loan

yet they ridicule those who are actually concerned with way the club is going... what was the fucking point of the last 4 years? do all that to just then destroy it all and hope for the best?
