He is very threatening, but the way he plays is exhausting. He plays at full speed, all the time.
Isn't that the quality we describe as grinta? The exact quality that makes Tevez and Vidal champions? Vidal plays at 'full speed' all the time as well. It's a playing style that requires great stamina - preferable to a relaxed playing style like Pirlo. Marchisio will prove a better deep lying playmaker then Pirlo as his grinta is evidently improving our defense..

Marchisio and Vidal last for 90 minutes though. I have never seen Mertens play well for 90 minutes. He's to Hazard what a Mazda sportscar is to a Ferrari.

Just a thought:

Maybe its a blessing we haven't splurged on an AM yet with two CB's injured already. Looks like we need a new LB and probably a CB at this point. 2 defenders.

Tricky situation. Maybe Dybala can make that AM role his own?

As an RX8 owner, i find this offensive.

I'll remind you back when Mazda was competing at le mans, they won with the magnificent 787b, because they had the fastest car in its original 900hp@10500rpm tune (4 rotors, no turbo), but downtuned it to 650hp@9000rpm so it would last long enough. They went from having the fastest car, to a slower one, but they won the entire thing, cause none of the faster cars still ran halfway the race.

Pick your examples better

That's awesome. It's still not a Ferrari.

I wouldn't be shocked if a newer Ferrari v8 got better gas mileage than your rotary engine.

I've driven both a Mazda and Ferrari and confirm: A Mazda is certainly NOT a Ferrari.
Very funny. Thats like saying you've driven a Nissan and a Ferrari.

But forget to mention that Nissan actually builds a car that shames all but 1 Ferrari on the track

Thats a pretty daft statement

i'm comparing the 787b, wich won the biggest endurance race out there before it got restricted to shit to popularise F1.
Ferrari around that area was losing its racing pedegree, because they couldnt build a good car that kept up, but didnt break down, in regular races. They didnt even bother with 24h group C races, wich was the ultimate challenge back then. Ferrari picked up itself later in the schumacher era, cause it had higher budget then the other teams combined, and the best driver.

My rotary engine is from 2004. Its 6 times cheaper then any ferrari on the market. It did 100km with 10.5 liters when i filled it up last time. Maybe Ferrari has a V8 thats more economical.

But gas mileage isnt something you consider when buying a sportscar.
