These three players, especially Silva and Mata in the season described, had varying levels of through-ball attempts, but all created nearly 100 chances for their team-mates:
Silva: 102 chances created (77 through-balls)
Mata: 102 chances created (22 through-balls)
Modric: 95 chances created (36 through-balls)

You are right but its hard to believe that we go for buy him otherwise there would be enough rumours already
ok so now stats tell the whole story, i could give you dozens of players who have better stats than both Oscar and Isco, by your logic they are better than them. Its not by chance that Isco is a highly rated young player in the world with Pogba and Oscar is an average player who doesnt excel at anything.
stats tell a lot actually when messing a players efficiency. how else would you mess how efficient an attacking midfielder is if not by counting goals and assists. i dont care for all that flashy stuff from Isco if it doesent result in goal scoring. Oscar has more goals+assists in almost 1000 less minutes in a more defensive team. that tells quite a lot actually.

"by my logic" i would rate Messi and Ronaldo as the best of all time which i obviously would never ever do. Isco being highly rated (Sterling for example is as highly rated as it gets) doesent mean as much as his on field actions to me. and Oscar being average and doesent excelling at anything i dont want to comment even
