We have succeeded in creating a good defense, and last year we improved in the attack but we can do even better. I think Allegri already noticed that we know how to defend... but we struggle when we really want to score and create. We are doing the right thing in trying to use more offensive formations tbh.

The objective is to have the strongest possible squad for next season and with Vidal gone it looks like Draxler and Sandro are the best possible acquisitions (not buying into this Gotze fantasy but if it happens then awesome). Besides, would you have thought last season's squad could/would make the CL final? No you wouldn't.

Let's see how expenditure of 60m on a single player would look in our books; asuming we offer him 4 years of contract and around 6m salary (12m gross) seems reasonable for a player of such profile, we'd be increasing yearly costs by 60/4+12=27m over the next 4 seasons. Not gonna happen anytime soon.

I did, I predicted that Allegri would take that team far if all elements stay. They kept all players and we did reach far. This time around, we have weakened our squad, thinking that Allegri can do miracles? I don't know what the management are thinking, hopefully not only about budget....

yes, I thought we had the best midfield in the world and probably best defense as well. I expected us to be in the semifinals and with a bit of luck reach the finals.
Now we don't have the best midfield in the world.
