He was left out of the U21 side for long before - really as a glaring error. I like him as a youth prospect. Still only 20, he has a ways to go as an AM. Good with the ball and quick on his feet, he still needs to improve at reading the game and his teammates more. Not to mention he can run a temper now and then. But an interesting young talent to keep an eye on for sure.

I wouldn't be against getting nastasic given we can't entirely be sure of cacere's fitness as well as barzagli's. However, rugani needs to play and deserves to play so if this move means rugani goes on loan then im against it

Is Özil really worth it? He comes of two years playing poorly in the Mikey Mouse league with his team finishing merely above the EL sides. Hasn't won shit (let's not fool ourselves, second round of the Coppa Italia is worth more than winning the FA Cup). I mean, why would be put our eyes over a player that has been floping in a very mediocre level?

I think we should go for Saponara, has been playing in the Serie A for some years now and has proven himself to be able to be vital to a club with big aspirations (unlike Arsenal) like Empoli! And he is even younger.

Let's nor forget:
A goal in Serie A = 5 goals in Premier League.
An assist in Serie A = 5 assist in Premier League.
