There is no one to buy for a reasonable amount that would make us better in this moment. And Mata is definitely NOT Juventus No10 material. Sure he can fill the gap, but he isn't even on the level of Tevez.

PS: All right I see what people are doing here - throwing names for the sake of it these days.

About freebies, maybe we could consider bernardeschi and de sciglio.
apparently transfermarkt are wrong as he's a freebie in 2017, not 2016. :boh:

De Sciglio is to think about it. 1st we must sign A. Sandro and at RB De Sciglio if we think we're getting a meelan player that will do good for us. Usually that's what happens.

As a trequartista he defo is Juve material.

He had consecutive 30+ goals/assists for Chelsea. His Man UTD form was a bit off but they were having the worst period in decades.

Saying that it doesn't really matter since we aren't getting him.

    Benatia 'honoured' by Juve interest
    By Football Italia staff

Mehdi Benatia is “honoured by interest from Juventus and Real Madrid. If Bayern Munich can’t promise consistency, I could leave.”

The former Roma defender has only been in Germany for a year, as Bayern paid €28m for him.

A year before that, the Giallorossi had bought him from Udinese for €13.5m, so the Morocco international’s transfer value has sky-rocketed.

“I am honoured by interest from Juventus and Real Madrid,” Benatia told Tuttosport.

“Who doesn’t dream of wearing those jerseys? I want to play consistently and if Bayern can’t promise that, then I could consider the idea of leaving.”
