last time i checked juve's financial reports i had the impression that juve used linear depreciation. buffon's value was about a couple of hundred thousand euros, marchisio's value was close to nothing, and so was pogba's, too.
But that doesn't mean that the book value is equal to the value the club thinks the player is worth. It's simply absurd to calculate possible transfer fees that way.
