He was always viewed as a prick, though, so his performances didn't have to drop much for people to decide his prickishness wasn't worth the hassle.

Boateng is/was and will forever be a waste.
So assuming Llorente and Coman will leave who will be our fifth choice striker next season? I know he didn't have a great season for QPR (who did?) but if he's available I wouldn't mind taking a punt on Eduardo Vargas. I think he's got something about him plus knows Vidal well, a good old Beppe special - loan with option to buy couldn't hurt.
Guy sucks imho . Napoli bought him and they sent him on loan after the first year . He has been on loan for 3 years right now and has managed respectively 17,19 and 21 matches in his first , second and third year on loan . And after 3 years nobody seems to want him so we should skip .

To be honest there are some spurs fans who have the opinion that lamela is a better player than eriksen, since eriksen's work rate is inferior whilst he also tends to give the ball away a lot and carves out more chances for the forwards.

Given that his assist rate is not that great I do tend to agree with this opinion from what I've seen of lamela at spurs

I'm totally down with us taking a chance on Lamela, especially in a cash + Llorente deal. He's not a natural trequartista but he can definitely play there. Much rather him than Jovetic who is a million times more injury prone and also not a true CAM.
