The lack of links at fullback is probably because Allegri views Asamoah as a LB. Thats where he played when he came back from injury.

Since that seems like the case, for next year Asa/Evra and Licht/Cacares is good cover. This summer they are obviously focusing on attack. Next will be defense when evra leaves and Licht is another year older.
