Juventus schedules meeting with Monaco: the potential transfer targets

After coming off a great season, Juventus is working on improving the squad. The bianconeri already signed Dybala and Khedira, and now Marotta and Paratici, the two directors in charge of transfer moves, are heading to Montecarlo in the next few hours. Juventus has been interested in midfielder Kondogbia, who is also being followed closely by Milan. But there could be other targets including Fabinho, Martial and Abdennour who impressed many Serie A scouts when he faced Juve in the Champions League. Juventus is looking to improve the squad, they will travel to Monaco to find reinforcements.

IMO it would be wrong to change the team so much as speculated.

We don't need that, this team had huge success last season.

All we need is to insert fresh young players. We already got Dybala and Rugani. Now we should sign one young AM for the future. Oscar would be perfect.

There are players that can keep us around the same level then there are players that can push us to a higher level. None of the signings and names so far seem like improvements over what we already have but rather players that can keep us at the same level. Dybala, Khedira, Pereyra, Oscar, Berardi, Witsel etc... will more or less leave us at the same level we are at today. Don't get me wrong we have old players that need replacing and young players that can go any second (Pogba) so perhaps instead of going for the jugular and going for a major superstar signing its best to buy players who can phase out our old or leaving guys while the Club gets richer for the future.

No need to take any big risks. With these signings we should win the double and reach QF in the CL again before we sign the super stars that can put us on par with the attacks of the top Guns. There is no rush we are once again ahead of schedule and have enough money to revamp all the old players.

Pirlo, Tevez, Pogba, Barzagli, Buffon will leave this summer or the next. Getting a young replacement or cashing in on the expensive ones is a good strategy. We build our galacticos when we can regularly afford it. In the meantime.. stay at the top of italy in both competitions and be the CL underdog. To do that your squad must not grow too old nor too expensive for your revenue structure.

Well, I'd prefer to start making predictions about our prospects come mid August when a much clearer picture of the overall transfer activity of the main Serie A clubs is nearing a conclusion.

Milan are spending heavily with Martinez done, Turan and/or Kondogbia under negotiation and others like Roma, Lazio and Napoli will undoubtedly strengthen in coming weeks.

If Tevez goes - and I'm pretty sure we have seen the last of him - we will need to replace him with a player capable of getting a minimum 20 goals a season.

In all other respects, I have absolutely no doubt that Agnelli will authorise Marotta and Patrici to go out and get the replacements for Barzagli, Pirlo, and, eventually, Evra, Lichtsteiner and Chiellini in 2016/17.

For now though as far as next season is concerned only about 40% of this Summer's transfer window business is done.

Laudisa says we've blocked Danilo of Braga as well.
How the hell do we have so much money from? :/
Signed Dybala 32+8M, will sign Zaza+Berardi for 28-30M, exercising Pereyra's option 13-14M and there goes our summer transfer budge with CL money.
However, according to news, we sign Witsel (20-25M), Allegri asked a 10's 30-40M, if Tevez leaves -> Mandzukic 10-15M, Danilo etc.

Juventus are also monitoring Danilo (Braga), De Bruyne & Kondogbia. No progress on any front but Juve still keeping an eye on all 3. #GdS

If Chelsea manage to pip out Juventus & sign Witsel (who Mourinho likes), then that opens the door for Juve to go after Ramires. #GdS

I dont think any of the Serie A teams is a threat to us domestically. The Gap is too huge. Roma was close two seasons ago and maybe at the start of last season but the momentum that fueled their amazing form 2 years ago proved fruitless thanks to our incredible consistency and was effectively completely broken last season. If Roma can challenge us, they need a lot of improvement.

Inter has a good group of players and so do Napoli each needing very few signings especially at the back and they will be good on paper. But both teams have massively under-performed especially Inter and I doubt they can make a serious challenge either.

Milan is a mess that will take years to fix. Their whole squad belongs in the dumpster. Ibra and Martinez are 2 good players out of a terrible 11. They need about five more proper players to compete. Their whole midfield is garbage as is their defense. Their coach is also garbage. I am least threatened by Milan.

Morata says hello.
Hi Alvaro. Just to let you know that If Tevez waves goodbye to you in the next fornight, your twenty goals next season will need to be matched by someone who is also capable of netting 20+.
It's currently being worked on becuase at the moment there isn't anyone currently at the club who can manage that feat. We'd have to rely - like we did - 3 seasons ago with half a dozen players chipping in with between 7 -11 goals each.

I would say, this news are only true if Pogba leaves.

Our 4th most expensive transfer ever says hello.

And of course it's a bit shortsighted to say we'd need 2 players who score 20 goals every season. Where does that leave Chelsea for instance?
