I know. We have spent too much already. I am talking in terms of long term strategy. First phase out older players and replace them with players of around the same level. Second go for superstars. Juve should be more or less the same for a season or two but then when we have super stars we will become one of the elite squads.

Darmian can play both sides equally good, is young and italian. Licht is not fine. He'll face surgery and long recovery. Evra i hope will play for years, but we cannot predict when he'll quickly start to decline. Asamoah returning is massive indeed. But effectively we got 3 players for 2 positions, and 2 are old and will be frequently rotated.
So Darmian, is key.

We got khedira and sturaro. midfield is done. We go coman and dybala, (and zaza), frontline is done.

Keep pogba, keep tevez, get darmian, close big money mercato.
