I am just hoping we get some decent sales this summer. I don't think we would be able to compete for top players with EPL/Arabs/Country of Spain, but there are always underrated players on the market and other teams might have tons of money, but they don't have 25 starting spots.

Now about our sales:
- Llorente
- BonBon
- Pepe
- one midfielder not named Pogba

Hopefully we will get ~30m for those players and we could use them to pay what we would owe for Zaza and Berrardi.

Then Romulo - would we need him? Yeah salary is cheap, but he is never going to improve significantly and I'd prefer homegrown players to fill these spots. I don't think we would be weakened in any notable way if at all.

He's making a valid point though.Off-Topic but atleast something meaningful and a very accurate assessment unlike the spamsters littering this thread with absolute rubbish.

Exactly. Any "news" 4-5 months before the next window starts is hard to take seriously.

Close this one and open one deeeeep in the off-topic section called:

Badass, Hustini, Zizinho, Alex & Rakib's playroom
On a serious note, I often thought that having two Mercato threads, one for serious news and the other for fake formations and Tuttosport BS would be cool. I mean, it would be a bitch to enforce, and kinda hard to decide where exactly to draw the line, but during Mercato seasons it could actually be kinda helpful.

the serious one would be empty except for 5-10 rumors/done deals during the summer. 90% of rumors are fake and bullshit anyway
